Screen Scotland has officially been launched as of today, 21st August, 2018. Sitting within the services offered by Creative Scotland, the new entity aims to be a single point of contact for everyone in the screen industries in Scotland.
In partnership with Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Skills Development Scotland and the Scottish Funding Council, Creative Scotland will use Screen Scotland to distribute funding and support to a creative sector that is notoriously difficult to negotiate for new and growing businesses.
We at the Cultural Enterprise Office are excited to be able to work with and support Screen Scotland. In partnership with the new entity, we’ve put together case studies and a directory of agencies that work with screen companies and we’re delighted to support enterprises in this important sector of the creative economy.
