Held on Wednesday May 9 over three venues in the heart of Glasgow’s flourishing East End – BAad, St Lukes and The Backyard – Can Do Fest’s closing event Impact Summit 2018 is not your average conference.
Co-created by Cultural Enterprise Office, The Hunter Foundation and Future X Innovation, the Summit is set to feature inspirational speakers including CEO’s Rachael Brown and Future X cofounders Zoi Kantounatou, Bruce Walker and Adam Purvis. There are also roundtable discussions hosted by a cross-section of business, education and community leaders fully committed to turning ideas into actionable strategies for change.
Speaking as one of the event’s partners, Sir Tom Hunter explained, “Impact Summit is a movement that puts the individuals and communities in Scotland at the forefront of our thinking. Only by casting aside what we have always done can we change what we as a nation will become.”
After a day of discussions, inspiration and networking the Summit concludes with the After Party at The Backyard where delegates have the opportunity to compare notes, eat, drink and dance.
